Weekly Sunday Services are held at 11.15 am each Sunday.
Worship focuses in on the central act of Communion when we take bread and wine and together remember God’s love demonstrated to us in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
However throughout the month there is a diversity in our worship style and of activities taking place within and after the main service.
On the first Sunday in the month, after the main service, there is a short Healing service with prayer and anointing with oil at 12.30pm
On the second Sunday of each month, there is a Healing Eucharist which embraces the opportunity for individual prayer for healing of self or others. You are welcome to come forward to receive prayers for healing and or light a candle in prayer.
On the third Sunday we gather for worship and then afterwards enjoy some “Soup Fellowship” when we meet in the Church Hall for a bowl of soup. Our Fair Trade Stall is also available at this time for you to purchase a variety of fairly traded products.
On the fourth Sunday of the month we hold “an Informal Eucharist” which gives us an opportunity to worship in a different way using other forms of liturgy and explore some fresh expressions of worship.
When there is a fifth Sundays in a month St. Leonard's and St. Mary's celebrate together with a joint service. We also join together to celebrate each others patronal festivals when we remember the Saints whom our churches are named after.
